Infinity IPS

Infinity IPS (Infinity International Processing Services) is a US-based business process outsourcing and financial services firm headquartered in Rockville, Maryland. Founded in 2003, it is best known as a third-party review provider for the mortgage industry, and it also runs a logistics back-office outsourcing business for freight and transportation companies.

In mortgage services, the company reviews residential mortgage-backed securities for compliance, credit, collateral and property risk. It reviews new originations, including conforming, jumbo, non-QM, HELOC and closed-end second lien loans, checks servicing portfolios for investor and regulatory compliance, and carries out due diligence on scratch-and-dent, reperforming and non-performing loans. Additional services include whole loan advisory, tax, title and valuation reports, and specialised staffing. The company describes itself as a top-five and the largest independently owned third-party review firm in the US, having supported 150 rated and non-rated securitizations in the past two years, and says it is SOC 2 and SOC 3 compliant.

Its logistics division serves freight forwarders, trucking companies, 3PL providers, NVOCCs, customs brokers, freight brokers and warehousing firms. It handles accounts payable and receivable for freight operations, documentation, booking, shipment tracking and exception handling inside the client's transportation management system, freight invoice audit, freight data analytics and carrier optimisation, lead generation for freight sales teams, and API and bot automation. It offers a free audit of 100 freight invoices to prospective clients.

According to the logistics site, Infinity IPS has more than 1,200 employees across seven processing centres in four countries, which it identifies as India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Jamaica, and serves more than 327 clients. Its leadership team includes Chief Operating Officer Gregg Gorse and a global team director who oversees coordination between onshore and offshore staff.

Infinity IPS is suited to lenders, loan aggregators, issuers, investors and servicers that need independent loan-level review, and to US logistics companies that want to outsource billing, documentation and freight audit work to an offshore team.
