The verification badge

The BPOAI.ai badge tells buyers one thing: this company's listing is claimed, managed, and — at the Verified level — checked against published criteria rather than taken on trust. It links to the live profile, so anyone can inspect what sits behind it. Earning it and displaying it are free.

How a company earns it

1

Claim your profile

Verify ownership with a company work email. If the email domain matches the company website, approval is automatic; otherwise our team reviews the claim manually. Claiming is free.

2

Complete and prove

Fill the profile — services, industries, team size, AI tooling — and back the claims that need proof. Verification runs against the published 5-axis criteria: digital presence, AI tooling in production, staff training, outcome proof, and governance.

3

Earn your tier

The score places the company on the public tier ladder. Tiers are earned against the criteria, never bought — the top tier additionally requires named human sign-off regardless of the numeric score.

4

Display the badge

From the company dashboard, copy the embed snippet: a badge image linking to your live BPOAI.ai profile. Paste it into your website footer or about page. Displaying the badge is free.

The tiers behind the badge

The badge reflects the same public tier ladder documented on How Scoring Works — there is no separate badge scale.

Unclaimed

status, not a score

Has not claimed a profile. The only thing we say about a company that hasn't engaged.

Dabbler

1–49

Claimed profile; AI usage minimal, unverified, or self-reported only.

Builder

50–84

Real AI tooling in active production, staff trained, some documented outcome proof.

Terraformer

85–100

Full accreditation — verified tooling, trained workforce, documented KPI outcomes, plus mandatory human sign-off regardless of score.

Displaying the badge on your site

After your claim is approved, your company dashboard generates a copy-paste HTML snippet: the badge image, wrapped in a link to your own BPOAI.ai profile. The badge renders live — if your status changes, the image changes with it. It looks like this:

<a href="https://bpoai.ai/directory/your-company" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">
  <img src="https://bpoai.ai/api/badge/your-company" alt="Your Company - Verified on BPOAI.ai" width="200" height="36" />
</a>

The link points to your company's own profile page, so the buyers who click it land on your evidence, not a homepage.

Badge questions

01

What does the badge actually verify?

That the company has claimed its profile with a verified work identity, and where the badge says Verified, that its capability claims passed review against the published scoring criteria. The badge links to the live profile, where the tier and evidence are public.

02

Does the badge cost anything?

No. Claiming a profile, verification, and displaying the badge are all free. No company can pay for a tier, a ranking, or a badge anywhere on BPOAI.ai.

03

Can the badge be revoked?

Yes. The badge reflects the live profile — if verification lapses or claims stop holding up under review, the badge image and the profile change together. That is what keeps it worth displaying.

04

How do buyers check a badge is real?

Click it. Every badge links to the company's profile on bpoai.ai, where the current tier, score review status, and evidence are shown. A badge image without a working profile link is not ours.
