The gap is the story

Nearly a third of the Philippine BPO market now sells AI in its own words — 263 of 892 published companies reference AI, machine learning, or automation in their services or self-description. Verified capability is a different picture: under the published 5-axis review, which demands named tooling in production, trained staff, and documented outcomes, one company has passed to date.

That distance between claims and proof is not an indictment of the industry — it is the baseline this report exists to track. As claims convert to verified capability year over year, this page will show the transition happening; where they do not, it will show that too. Either way, the number is measured, not surveyed.

Methodology

All figures are computed from the live BPOAI.ai directory at the generation date: published company profiles built from companies' own public information and agent verification, plus the AI vendor directory. 'AI claims' counts companies whose own services, tags, or description reference AI, machine learning, or automation. 'Verified' figures count companies that passed the published 5-axis review (score_reviewed) — self-reported claims never count as verified. Aggregates only; no company-level data is exported.

  • Generated: August 19, 2026 — the export is re-run annually and this page updates in place at the same URL.
  • Scoring criteria: published in full on How Scoring Works. No company can pay for a position, a tier, or a badge.
