Since our inception in 1988, SoftFile has become one of the leading business services companies in the Western United States. SoftFile provides a wide range of business services including document scanning, data entry, plastic card printing, mail room, and fulfillment services.

SoftFile has grown into America’s leading document management service provider by implementing more than a thousand projects for private businesses and government agencies. The company began as Altec Systems, changing its name to SoftFile in the 1990s to capitalize on the digitalization trend. Then, it acquired several document management companies, including Visual Graphix, Nevada Micrographics, and Omni Mountain. In 2004, SoftFile opened an office in Cebu, Philippines, and its headquarter building in Sacramento opened four years later.
