Offshore Business Processing - Araneta City

Offshore Business Processing - Araneta City is the Quezon City location of Offshore Business Processing (OBP), an Australian-headquartered offshore outsourcing provider that builds dedicated teams for freight forwarding, transportation and logistics companies. Working with this site gives buyers access to customer support, back-office processing, data entry and business process outsourcing staff who function as an extension of the client's own operations rather than as a generic call center.

The services on offer span data entry work such as carrier information, rate sheets, proof-of-delivery documentation, TMS record updates, job registration and filing, order tracking, import/export operations and tax records; accounting support covering accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping and payroll, financial planning and auditing, billing, invoicing and reconciliation; call center functions including inbound and outbound calls, email and chat support, telemarketing and technical support; and IT solutions such as web development, network engineering and technical support. A separate consulting practice covers CargoWise, including helpdesk support, training, workflow and PAVE configuration, system integration, process re-engineering, SOP development and implementation assistance.

Clients are drawn mainly from freight forwarding and the wider transportation and logistics sector, including air and ocean freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL providers, warehousing and distribution operators, trucking companies, and e-commerce logistics and courier businesses. OBP also serves companies in finance and accounting, information technology, retail and e-commerce, real estate and mortgage, and healthcare, working with businesses ranging from startups to larger enterprises.

OBP has operated for more than 13 years and describes itself as the largest WiseTech Service Partner, with over 500 CargoWise Certified Practitioners on staff, made up of certified operators, specialists and professionals. Company-wide, OBP reports working with more than 150 freight forwarding and logistics clients through a team of over 1,000 logistics professionals, with delivery capability based in the Philippines, including this Araneta City, Quezon City site.
