Image Data Inc

Image Data Inc, operating as eBizDocs, is an Albany, New York-based document management and back office outsourcing company that has been converting paper records into organized, accessible digital information since 1999. For businesses and government organizations drowning in physical files, the company offers a practical path to reclaim workspace, recover lost time, and cut the costs that come with inaccessible records. The core service offering spans document scanning and conversion, digital document capture, document management systems, and business process automation. The production operation handles everything from high-volume enterprise file rooms to sensitive government records, including New York State birth certificates and entire human resources departments. Once documents are scanned, capture software routes the information automatically across an organization, reducing manual handling and the workflow bottlenecks that paper creates. For organizations just beginning their digital transformation, eBizDocs also provides hardware solutions, from basic desktop scanning to large-format and high-volume equipment. EBizDocs serves both public and private-sector clients and holds preferred source contractor status for New York State entities, which allows government agencies to engage their services through a streamlined procurement process. On the private side, they work with small-to-midsize businesses and large enterprises, making them a capable back office outsourcing partner across a wide range of organizational sizes and document volumes. Operationally, eBizDocs holds SOC2 Type II certification. For clients in regulated environments or those supporting remote workforces, that certification matters. It backs up their claim of enterprise-grade security with a verified standard, not just a policy document. Their infrastructure is built to support distributed teams who need safe, reliable access to shared content. Leadership brings genuine domain depth. CEO Howard Gross founded the company after serving as operations manager at a top-10 insurance company and project manager at an electronic records management firm. He is a recognized expert quoted in industry publications and co-authored work on paper reduction in government operations. Vice President Jason Abare, on the team since 2004, holds AIIM Capture and ECM Practitioner certifications and oversees sales, operations, and technology. For any organization still managing paper-heavy back office processes, Image Data Inc is worth a conversation. Whether the need is a one-time scanning project or an ongoing document management program, their team can walk you through a step-by-step plan.
