Position Title:  U.S. Tax Accountant

Work Setup:  Work from home

Schedule: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing – Building 35, Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

We're looking for a Tax Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and tax-related tasks, including transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, financial reporting, and payroll processing. The role will also prepare U.S. business and individual tax returns, maintain accurate accounting records, coordinate client tax submissions, and track accounting and tax projects to ensure tasks and deadlines are completed on time.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage accounting projects, categorize bank and credit card transactions, perform daily reconciliations, and review financial statements for accuracy
  • Prepare and maintain daily financial management reports for management review and decision-making
  • Process weekly and biweekly payroll, including payroll liabilities, using QuickBooks Desktop and ADP, Gusto, or any other Payroll Platform
  • Prepare U.S. business tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120-S, and 1120, and assist with U.S. individual tax returns
  • Perform tax mapping in QuickBooks Desktop and ensure accounting records are properly maintained and organized
  • Send completed tax returns to clients for electronic signature through SmartVault or other tools and provide administrative support as needed
  • Track and manage accounting and tax-related projects using Monday.com/ Officetools/ Karbon/ Taxdome or any project management tool, ensuring tasks and deadlines are properly monitored

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience in U.S. accounting and tax preparation
  • Experience preparing U.S. business tax returns, particularly Forms 1065, 1120-S, and 1120
  • Knowledge of U.S. individual tax returns is a plus
  • Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Payroll processing experience, preferably using Toast Payroll
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel
  • Experience with tax preparation with Pro-Series/ Drake/ Ultra Tax/ CCH
  • Familiarity with any tool for document management and e-signatures
  • Experience using Monday.com/ Officetools/ Karbon/TaxDome or similar project management tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounting and tax-related tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
